Huangshan Maofeng (黄山毛峰) Green
Huangshan Maofeng (黄山毛峰) Green
Huangshan Maofeng (黄山毛峰) literally means “Yellow Mountain Fur Peak”, which refers to the location of the tea and it’s picking and processing style. Huangshan means “Yellow Peak” and refers to the original location of this tea, which is in southern Anhui Province. Maofeng on the other hand means “Fur Peak” which describes the picking and processing of the tea - the semi-needle like shape along with the tiny white hairs found on the leaf. Huangshan Maofeng is one the most widely enjoyed green teas in China as it is easy to brew. Our Mao Feng is processed using a two stage air-firing method. It brews deeply vegetal and grassy, with a thick, sweet, and robust body.
