Now that his three kids are grown, John Shepherd is pursuing his dream of performing folk and Americana music around his hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Occasionally playing with some of the area’s premier acoustic artists, Shepherd combines a rich fingerstyle guitar technique with intimate vocal deliveries. Heavily influenced by ’60s and ‘70s acoustic artists, his diverse catalog includes covers of singer/songwriters of the last 60 years along with originals that tell universal tales of life with observations and perspectives that turn the mundane into the mystical.
