She can be spotted singing in the streets of Denver CO, and in Folk and Indie music spaces around the globe. Her songs and stories possess entrancing qualities; often transporting listeners into fantastical worlds. Take it away, Dear! “. . . I seem to have wandered on stage. I was just floating around aimlessly in the dark WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN a hand reached out and pulled me up from the dirt. Then they stuck me in this dress and put makeup on my face. They brushed at my hair and sewed lace and pearls to my skin. They tried to put shoes on my feet, but I bit hard enough that they stopped trying. You know, they told me I could sing here. That I could tell stories up here. Is this true? May I tell you a story now? They said if I did well enough on this stage, they would give me my name back.” Hey, Hey, Hey! We don't want to spoil too much of the mystery, Dear. Jo Fuller & Her Band
Jo Fuller is a CO-based singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Wood of the Grain, is a personal exploration of development in context. Jo’s music is genre-bending, but is ultimately best classified as alt-country. Pulling from the varied musical influences of her Kansas upbringing, she brings you depthful poetry sung to a groove.
Jo is joined in the studio and on stage by a full band- Jackie Ames (electric guitar), Tyler Kane (pedal steel), Davis Rowan (drums), and Parker Olney (bass guitar).
Children of Divorce
Children of Divorce is a Denver-based indie folk trio. They write about themes of queer love, loss, dismantling the patriarchy, and objects of their fandoms. Members Katie Yeager, Genevieve Libien, and Finn O’Sullivan all met while studying songwriting at the University of Colorado Denver and immediately found their writing styles to be compatible, with an emphasis on poetic storytelling through lyrics and ear-catching melodies. They bonded over a shared love of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles (their musical parents and the band’s namesake), and after a writing session over a zoom call mid-pandemic, the rest was history. Á la boygenius, they each play solo as well as with the trio.
